Job Title: Software Developer

Job Duties: Contribute to design, development, integration, testing, support and maintenance of software applications using software tools such as: Business Objects, Informatica, Oracle, SQL Server, Cognos, JAVA and VB.net. Execute the Project in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Big Data. Extract and integrate data from multiple data systems using Informatica Power center and Transition of legacy ETLs with Java, python, and Hive queries to Spark Eldering and develop data processing solutions and custom ETL pipelines for varied data formats like parquet and Avro. Design, develop, test and release ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows using Informatica, Streamsets, Java MapReduce, Spark and SQL. Conduct performance tuning of end-to-end ETL integration processes and analyze optimal approach for obtaining data from diverse source systems. Work closely with the data architects and interface with business stakeholders to understand requirements and offer solutions. Create test plans and test cases, user request handling and enhance the systems, bug fixes, regular status reporting and documentation.

Other: Full Time. Travel involved to unanticipated client locations within US.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or Equivalent + 1 year of experience in job offered or related. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
